Levring Efterskole inviterer til åbning på nyanlagt MTB-bane

Onsdag d. 11. maj inviterer Levring Efterskole til åbning på skolens nye MTB-teknikspor kl. 19.00-20.30. Alle interesserede er velkomne. Her vil der blive serveret grillpølser, kage og kaffe ligesom det vil være muligt at køre en tur på det nyanlagte spor. Det kræver dog man selv medbringer cykel.
Adventurelærerene på Levring Efterskole klapper i hænderne disse dage. Et nyt mountainbikespor er nemlig blevet en realitet og skolen en sportsfacilitet rigere. ”Efter vi installerede vores kunstgræsbane og Goal Station stod vi tilbage med en stor jordbunke, som vores dygtige adventurelærere hurtigt så muligheder i, fortæller skolens forstander, Kim Thynebjerg. Anders Fallesen, der driver Falle’s Sti og Sporbyg i Viborg, blev kontaktet og gik i efteråret 2021 gang at anlægge spor, hop, broer mm. ”At sporet allerede nu står færdigt er både en gevinst for vores nuværende elevhold såvel som de fremtidige. Det er blevet så fedt, lyder det fra en meget begejstret forstander.
”Det er helt fantastisk, at vi har fået den mulighed på skolen. Vi vil naturligvis stadig tage rundt om i landet og køre mountainbike, men det er et kæmpe aktiv, at vi nu har en sjov og udfordrende bane på skolen”, fortæller adventurelærer Svend Erik Nielwald. ”Vi glæder os til at benytte det i vores linjetimer, ligesom vi håber på, at også skolens øvrige elever vil prøve sig af på sporet. Det kunne jo være de blev forelsket i MTB, udeoplevelser eller adventuresportens muligheder afslutter en glad adventurelærer.
